"American Flag House and Betsy Ross Memorial Association" certificate, 1905 series. A very nice (but not intaglio) certificate from an unknown printer. Shows a color central vignette of Betsy Ross sewing the flag while George Washington, George Ross and Robert Morris look on, plus vignettes of the Betsy Ross house and grave as well as some scrollwork. A neat addition to any Forerunner collection even though it was probably not produced by a security printer. These normally sell for $250 - $350 when offered at auction, see past R. M. Smythe sales for examples, or write for a photocopy. Framed, in nice condition......$200.00
